Security officer with a radio standing at a building entrance

Safe for guests, still welcoming

Hotels, restaurants, bars and event venues need officers who can stop trouble and still say good evening properly. We put licensed staff on your doors, in your lobby and along the back corridors, matched to the way you run service.

Most trouble starts at the door.

A late arrival who won't take no for an answer. A guest wandering into staff areas. A bag left on a chair. Small things become incidents when nobody is watching the right spot.

Where we fit

Where Ignis Shield fits in hospitality.

The services hotels and venues ask us for most, picked from our full list.

  • Doors and bars

Licensed door supervisors check ID, manage the queue and calm things down before they spill into the street.

    Door supervision
  • Lobby and reception

A uniformed officer at front of house who knows guests by sight, signs visitors in and keeps an eye on luggage.

Residential concierge & front of house
  • Guest floors and staff areas

Key cards, fob readers and checks on service lifts, so guests reach guest floors and only staff reach the kitchen and stores.

    Access control
  • Cameras someone watches

CCTV over entrances, car parks and cash points, checked live by your officer and kept as evidence when you need it.

How it works

From walk-round to first shift.

  1. 01

    Site walk

We walk the venue with your manager: entrances, fire exits, bars, guest floors and the routes staff use.

  2. 02

    Plan and brief

Positions, hours and house rules agreed in writing, including how you want guests spoken to.

  3. 03

    On shift

Officers book on, patrol and hold their posts. Your duty manager can reach any of them all night.

  4. 04

    Report

A shift report lands in your inbox with anything logged, from a refused entry to a lost bag.

FAQ

Questions hotels and venues ask.

Will security put guests off?

Not when it's done well. We pick officers for manner as much as capability, and they dress and speak to suit your venue.

Do your door supervisors hold SIA licences?

Yes. Anyone working as a door supervisor holds the SIA licence the role legally requires, and we check it before every placement.

Can you cover a single busy night?

Yes. We cover regular rotas and one-off nights such as weddings, launches and bank holidays. Give us as much notice as you can.

What happens if there's an incident?

The officer deals with it, calls the police or an ambulance if needed and tells your duty manager. You get a written report by the next morning.

Can the same officers come back each week?

We try to keep the same faces on your venue, so they learn your regulars, your staff and your layout.
