ServicesFencing, barriers & site alarms

Keep people and vehicles off your site.

Some sites need physical protection more than they need people. We supply and fit security fencing and gates, concrete barriers, steel screens for doors and windows, mobile CCTV towers and wireless site alarms. Any of them can stand alone, or work alongside our patrols and officers so someone turns up when they are tested.

Security fencing and gates.

A solid boundary is the first thing an intruder has to beat. We supply fencing and matching gates for building sites, yards, empty land and commercial premises, sized to the risk.

Temporary fencing

Mesh panels for building sites and short-term jobs.

Permanent fencing

Palisade and similar for yards that need a lasting boundary.

Matching gates

Vehicle and pedestrian gates, locked and checked.

Concrete barriers across entrances.

When the threat arrives on wheels, a fence alone may not hold. Interlocking concrete blocks across a field gate, car park or yard entrance stop vans, caravans and fly-tippers driving on.

Interlocking blocks

Placed and linked to suit the width of the opening.

Removable sections

Lifted out when emergency or authorised access is needed.

Gate options

A gate fixed to the blocks where your own vehicles need in.

Steel screens for doors and windows.

Boards get prised off. Steel screens and doors are far harder to shift, and they keep squatters and thieves out of buildings standing empty. Perforated screens still let air and some light in.

Solid screens

For buildings where nobody should be getting in at all.

Perforated and mesh screens

Air and light get through, and it is still steel.

Steel doors

Locked doors your keyholders and our officers can still use.

Mobile CCTV towers.

A camera tower can go up on a site with no power and no network. Solar and battery units record, pick up movement and send alerts, and a loudspeaker tells intruders they have been seen.

No mains needed

Solar, battery or fuel cell power for remote sites.

Alerts sent

Movement sends footage to a monitoring team.

Visible deterrent

Tall, lit and marked, so it is noticed from the road.

Wireless site alarms.

Building sites change every week, so a fixed alarm makes little sense. Wireless alarms go up quickly, move as the work moves, and send activations through for a response.

Quick to fit

Battery units with no cabling to run.

Moved as you build

Detectors repositioned as each phase changes.

Response on activation

An officer sent to check, with your keyholder told.

Checked after it goes in.

Fences get cut, blocks get shoved and screens get tested. We check what we fit, on patrol visits or to a schedule, and repair it quickly when someone has had a go.

Condition checks

Fences, blocks, screens and towers looked over regularly.

Quick repairs

Damage made good and recorded with photos.

One report

Everything on site in a single condition report.

Built for sites people keep entering.

Empty land, closed buildings and building sites get tested again and again. Physical measures make every attempt harder.

Gaps in the boundary

Fencing and gates sized to the site, and checked after they go in.

Vehicles driving on

Concrete blocks stop vans, caravans and fly-tippers at the entrance.

Boards pulled off

Steel screens and doors that take far more than a crowbar.

No power, no cameras

Solar towers and wireless alarms that work almost anywhere.

How it works

From site survey to secure boundary.

  1. 01

    Site survey

We walk the boundary, entrances and buildings, and note how people and vehicles get in.

  2. 02

    Protection plan

Which measures go where, for how long, and how they will be checked, agreed in writing.

  3. 03

    Installation

Fencing, blocks, screens, towers or alarms fitted, often within days.

  4. 04

    Checks

Regular checks, repairs when needed, and removal when the job ends.

Fixed or staffed

Physical measures, officers, or both.

Fences and barriers slow people down. Officers and alarms respond. Most sites need some of each.

Running cost

Low

Once fitted, fencing and barriers keep working without wages.

Vehicles

Stopped

Concrete blocks stop a van in a way a person on foot cannot.

Empty buildings

Sealed

Steel screens keep squatters out without anyone on site.

Remote sites

Covered

Solar towers and wireless alarms need no mains power.

Response

Linked

Alarms and towers bring an officer out to check, rather than only recording.

The rules

Planned properly

Cameras that film beyond your boundary bring data protection duties, and barriers must leave a way in for emergency services. We plan for both.

Rules we work to

FAQ

Questions people ask about site protection.

Is it hire or purchase?

That depends on the item and how long you need it. We talk it through at the survey and put the options in writing.

How quickly can barriers go in?

Often within days. Concrete blocks need a lifting vehicle and clear access, which we check at the survey.

Do camera towers need mains power?

No. Solar and battery units run without it, which suits open land and new building sites.

Will steel screens damage the building?

They fit into the window and door openings and come down when the building is back in use. We agree the fixings with you first.

Who responds when an alarm goes off?

An officer is sent to check and your keyholder is told. Response details are agreed before the alarm goes live.

Can this work with patrols?

Yes, and it often works best that way. Patrol officers check fences, blocks and screens on every visit.
