Technical information
Our website is hosted by [Hosting provider]. Like most websites, its servers automatically record basic technical information when pages are requested, such as your IP address, browser type, the page requested and the date and time. This is used to keep the site running securely and to diagnose problems. We do not use this information to identify you.
SIA licence and criminal record information
An SIA licence is only issued after an identity and criminal record check, and some of our roles legally require one. When you give us your licence number, we check it against the SIA's public register of licence holders to confirm that it is valid and covers the role.
If your application progresses, we will carry out pre-employment vetting and screening before you are deployed. This may include checks of your identity, employment history and references, and a criminal record check. We will tell you what checks we will carry out, and why, before we start them. Information about criminal convictions is only processed where the law allows, under the conditions set out in Schedule 1 of the Data Protection Act 2018, and with appropriate safeguards in place.

Records made at client sites
When our handlers work at a client's site, they keep patrol logs and incident reports, and that site may have its own CCTV. Information recorded at a client's site is usually controlled by that client, or is covered by the signage and privacy information at that site. This website does not collect any of that information. If you think we hold information about you from a site we protect, contact us and we will help you or tell you who to approach.
Cookies
This website does not set any cookies and does not use analytics or advertising trackers. If that changes, we will update this policy first and ask for your consent wherever the law requires it.
Who we share your information with
We only share personal data where it is necessary, and we expect everyone we share it with to protect it. This may include:
- Service providers who help us run our business, such as our website host, form processing provider, email and IT providers. They act on our instructions.
- The Security Industry Authority, when we check a licence on its public register.
- Referees and screening providers, when we carry out pre-employment vetting with your knowledge.
- Professional advisers, such as lawyers, accountants and insurers, where needed.
- The police, regulators or courts, where the law requires it or where it is necessary to prevent or detect crime.
International transfers
Some of our service providers may store or process data outside the UK. Where they do, we make sure the transfer is protected, for example because the country benefits from UK adequacy regulations, or because we use the International Data Transfer Agreement or the UK Addendum to the EU standard contractual clauses.

- Successful job applications: transferred to your employee record and kept in line with our employee privacy notice.
- Server logs: for the period set by our hosting provider, typically a short time.
How we protect your information
We use appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect personal data, including access controls, secure systems and staff training. Only people who need your information to do their job can access it.

Under UK data protection law you have the right to:
