ServicesAccess control

The right people in. Nobody else.

Access control is a mix of people, credentials and hardware. We put officers on your doors, gates and car park entrances, check ID against your policy and run visitor and contractor sign-in. We can also fit keycard, fob or biometric entry that ties into your CCTV and alarms.

Every door, gate and car park.

Each way in gets the right control. Some need an officer, some a reader and some both. We look at all of them, including the side doors and fire exits people forget.

Doors and gates

Main entrances, side doors and goods-in.

Car parks

Vehicles checked at the entrance.

Fire exits

Kept secure without blocking the way out.

ID checked against your rules.

Staff, visitors and contractors are checked before they are let in. Officers work to your policy, so the same rules apply on a quiet Monday and a busy Friday.

Staff passes

Checked, not waved through.

Contractors verified

Names, companies and permits matched to your list.

Clearance levels

Restricted areas only for people cleared to enter.

Visitors signed in, badged and out.

Every visitor is pre-registered where possible, given a badge, escorted if needed and signed out. You always have a list of who is in the building.

Pre-registration

Hosts book guests in before they arrive.

Badges and escorts

Visitor badges, and escorts for sensitive areas.

Keycards, fobs and biometrics.

We fit and manage keycard, fob, PIN and biometric entry, with access set by person, team or area. Readers can link to your CCTV and alarms, so a forced door raises a proper alert.

Access by role

Each person gets the doors they need, nothing more.

Restricted rooms

Server rooms, cash offices and stores locked down.

Linked systems

Door events tied to cameras and the alarm panel.

Lockdown when it is needed.

When something goes wrong, doors need to lock fast and escape routes need to stay open. Officers know the plan, work with the emergency services and keep control of who comes and goes.

Fast lockdown

Doors secured on instruction.

Safe evacuation

Escape routes kept clear and a roll call run.

Emergency services

Met at the door and given what they need.

A log of who was where.

Door events and the visitor log give you a record of who came in, when and where they went. It helps with audits, investigations and keeping the access list tidy when people leave.

Entry records

Who opened which door, and when.

Leavers removed

Old cards and fobs switched off promptly.

Regular reviews

Access levels checked against who still needs them.

Built for the gaps in your front door.

Tailgating, side doors nobody checks, leavers who still have a fob and no list of who is inside when the fire alarm goes.

Tailgating through held doors

Officers stop people slipping in behind staff.

Leavers who still have a fob

Cards are switched off and access lists reviewed regularly.

Side doors nobody checks

Every way in is mapped and controlled.

No list of who is inside

The visitor log shows who is on site at any moment.

How it works

From a door survey to controlled entry.

  1. 01

    Site survey

We map every door, gate and car park entrance and look at who uses each one.

  2. 02

    Security plan

Officer posts, access levels, visitor rules and any hardware, agreed in writing.

  3. 03

    Deployment

Officers briefed on your policy and systems fitted and tested, often at short notice.

  4. 04

    Reporting

Visitor logs, door event records and incident reports when something needs attention.

People and systems

Officers and readers, or a reader alone.

A card reader opens for the card, not the person. An officer notices the stranger behind them.

Tailgating

Stopped

An officer sees someone following staff in. A reader does not.

Visitors

Signed in

Guests and contractors checked, badged and signed out.

Lost cards

Switched off

Leavers and lost fobs removed from the system promptly.

Emergencies

Under control

Officers run lockdown and roll call to your plan.

Records

Door by door

Entry events and visitor logs in one record.

The rules

Licensed and lawful

Contracted officers controlling entry need an SIA licence, and visitor data is handled under UK data protection law.

FAQ

Questions people ask about access control.

Do we need officers or a system?

Often both. A system controls the doors staff use every day; an officer handles visitors, deliveries and anything unusual. The survey tells us where each makes sense.

What kinds of site do you cover?

Offices, industrial units, residential buildings and event venues. The approach is the same: map the ways in, then control each one.

How do you handle contractors?

They are checked against your list, signed in with their company and permits, badged and signed out when they leave.

What happens when someone leaves or loses a card?

The card is switched off as soon as we are told, and access lists are reviewed regularly so old cards do not build up.

Will it work in a fire evacuation?

Yes. Doors release as your fire strategy requires, and the visitor log gives a list for the roll call.

Can you work with our existing system?

Often, yes. We will look at what you have and tell you plainly whether to keep, extend or replace it.
