Compliance & welfare
Security work comes with real responsibilities: to the law, to your site, to the public and, with K9 teams, to the dogs. Here's how we meet them, in plain terms.

-
SIA licensing
Most contract security roles in the UK need a Security Industry Authority licence: guarding, door supervision, CCTV monitoring and close protection each have their own. We check every officer holds the right one before they start.
-
Handler in control
The Guard Dogs Act 1975 says a guard dog must be under a handler's control. Our dogs always work with their own handler, and are secured when the handler isn't beside them.
-
Dog welfare
Purpose-built crates for travel, rest and fresh water on every shift, and a handler who knows the dog well. A dog that's looked after works better.
-
Safety on site
Officers follow your site rules and inductions. First aid kit and fire extinguisher go out on every shift, with hard hats and safety boots where the site needs them.
-
Incident reporting
A log for every shift and a written report for every incident: what was checked, what was found and what the officer did. Records you can keep and share.
-
Data and CCTV
Site plans, access codes, logs and any footage we handle are used only to run your contract and kept in line with UK GDPR. Only the people covering your site can see them.
Questions about compliance?
Ask us anything about licensing, dog welfare, CCTV or how we handle your information. We'll give you a straight answer.
Free site assessmentYes, where the role needs one. Security guarding, door supervision, public space CCTV and close protection each have their own SIA licence, and we check it before anyone is deployed.
Careers: requirementsNo. Under the Guard Dogs Act 1975 a guard dog has to be under a handler's control, and ours always work with their own handler.
K9 unitsThey travel in purpose-built crates, get rest and water through the shift, and are cared for by handlers who know them well.
About usOnly the officers and operators covering your site, and only for your contract. Footage is shared with you, or with the police when you ask us to.
CCTV surveillanceA patrol log for every shift and a report for every incident. You get copies, so you can see what was checked and when.
How we workWe use it to run your contract and nothing else. Codes, plans and contacts stay with the team covering your site, and personal data is handled as our privacy policy sets out.
