Stock protected, customers still welcome

Retail loss rarely arrives in one go. It is a bottle here, a group distraction there, a stockroom door left on the latch. Our SIA-licensed retail officers hold the entrance, watch the floor and back up your staff, and they still greet customers and point them to the right aisle.

A presence customers notice.

The theft that never gets tried is the cheapest one. A uniformed officer at the entrance and walking the aisles tells everyone the store is watched, without turning it into a fortress.

Entrance and exit

A visible presence where people come and go.

Floor patrols

Aisles, high-value bays and fitting rooms walked through the day.

Help for staff and customers

Directions, a hand at the till, a calm word when a queue gets tense.

Spotting theft before it leaves.

Officers learn the signs that come before a theft: concealment, a group drawing staff away, the same faces coming back. They act early and within the law, and record what they saw.

Behaviour, not appearance

Officers watch what people do, not who they look like.

Early, lawful intervention

When to step in and when to observe is agreed with you.

Evidence kept

Times, descriptions and footage references noted for police or insurer.

Back of house counts too.

Plenty of retail loss never crosses the shop floor. We control stockrooms, delivery bays, offices and staff areas so only the right people get in, and deliveries are checked on arrival.

Stockroom access

Doors kept shut and entry limited to named staff.

Delivery bay

Drivers and loads checked against the paperwork.

Contractors verified

Cleaners, engineers and merchandisers signed in and out.

Working with your cameras.

CCTV is most useful while something is still happening. Our officers work with your in-store cameras in real time, so a developing situation is picked up and an officer is already on the way.

Live support

Officers watch screens at busy times and direct floor colleagues.

Suspicious behaviour flagged

Shared by radio before anyone reaches the door.

Footage preserved

Clips saved and noted when an incident needs evidence.

More cover when trade peaks.

Christmas, sales, launches and late opening change your risk overnight. Add officers for the days that need them instead of paying for the same cover all year.

Seasonal uplift

Extra officers booked around your calendar.

Launch and sale days

Queues and crowds kept calm and orderly.

Late trading

Cover that runs until the shutters are down.

A clear record of every incident.

You get a real picture of what is happening in your store, not an impression. Each incident, intervention and refusal is written up so patterns show and evidence is ready if you need it.

Incident reports

What happened, where, what the officer did and who was told.

Patterns spotted

Repeat times, aisles and faces flagged to you.

Ready for police or insurer

Statements and footage references in one place.

Built for how shops lose stock.

Shoplifting, distraction thefts, back-door losses and busy days with too few eyes. Each one is part of the plan.

Stockroom doors on the latch

Back-of-house areas are controlled and checked on every round.

Repeat visitors nobody spots

Officers note faces and times, and patterns are reported to you.

Busy days with thin cover

Extra officers for sales, launches and seasonal peaks.

Incidents nobody wrote down

Every incident is written up the same shift.

How it works

From a store walk to cover on the floor.

  1. 01

    Site survey

We walk the store with you: entrances, high-value bays, tills, stockroom and delivery bay.

  2. 02

    Security plan

Officer positions, hours, when to intervene and who to call, agreed in writing.

  3. 03

    Deployment

Briefed, smartly presented officers start on your shop floor, often at short notice.

  4. 04

    Reporting

Incident reports and a regular summary, so you can see what is going on.

People or tags

An officer, or cameras and tags alone.

Tags and cameras help. A trained officer on the floor changes behaviour before anything goes in a bag.

Deterrence

In person

A uniformed officer at the door is the clearest sign the store is watched.

Detection

Early

Officers spot the behaviour that comes before a theft, not only the alarm at the door.

Customers

Welcomed

Officers greet, direct and help, so security does not cost you trade.

Back of house

Controlled

Stockrooms and delivery bays are covered, where tags do nothing.

Records

Every incident

Written reports with times and evidence, not only a gate alarm log.

The rules

Licensed and lawful

Contracted security officers need an SIA licence, and any intervention must stay within the law.

FAQ

Questions retailers ask before booking.

Are your retail officers licensed?

Yes. Contracted security officers need an SIA licence in the UK, and every officer we place in your store holds one.

Can your officers stop a shoplifter?

UK law lets any person make an arrest in limited circumstances, and officers stay within it. We agree with you beforehand when officers should step in and when they should observe and report.

Will customers feel watched?

Our officers are chosen for their manner as much as anything else. Most customers see someone helpful at the door, not a security operation.

Can you cover several stores?

Yes. From one high street unit to several sites, with the same standards and one point of contact.

Can we add cover for Christmas or a sale?

Yes. Tell us your dates and we will plan extra officers around them.

How quickly can you start?

Often at short notice, for staff absence or a sudden problem. We walk the store and brief the officer first.
